Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest protected area, spans nearly 3,840 km² across the Victoria Nile and surrounding savannas. The park is best known for the spectacular Murchison Falls, where the Nile forces its way through a narrow gorge before plunging into the rapids below.

Wildlife sightings are exceptional: home to four of Africa’s Big Five—elephants, lions, leopards, and buffaloes—as well as giraffes, hippos, kobs, and Uganda’s largest Nile crocodile population.
